Statutory CO Tax in Germany (€ / t)
The Climate Protection Act stipulates that
  • the CO 2-Emissions will be reduced by at least 55 percent by 2030. Annual emissions budgets are set for this purpose. In addition, the draft defines the goal of greenhouse gas neutrality by 2050. The federal government can adjust the targets upwards.
  • The CO 2 levy in 2021 is EUR 25 / t and will rise to EUR 55 / t in the next 4 years. It must be assumed that the CO2levy will continue to rise after 2025, especially since neighboring German countries have already implemented a significantly higher levy.
  • The ENERGEEN lowers the CO 2 Emissions in which it accelerates the combustion process and thus leads to a more complete combustion.

Fossil & biogas CHP

Through the CO 2 levy arise an additional costs of Eur 159,900 for diesel operation and Eur 86,735 for biogas operation for a 500 kWel CHPP. These costs will increase 2.2 times over the next 4 years.

With the help of the ENERGEEN, the CO 2 levy for a diesel CHPP will be reduced by EUR 47,470 in 2021 and by EUR 105,534 in 2025.

Biogas CHPP

Development of the number of plants in biogas plants

In recent years, the number of new installations of biogas plants has decreased and in future investors will no longer achieve additional profit from more plant capacities, but increasingly from optimizing costs.

In addition, numerous biogas CHPPs no longer run at full load, which leads to additional stress and contamination of the combustion chamber. The result is higher maintenance costs and lower levels of efficiency.

ENERGEEN helps to reduce maintenance costs by 12% and to extend maintenance cycles.

Mobile energy generation

It is usually difficult to install additional exhaust filters in mobile diesel-powered energy generation in 40 „containersdue to the „spatial limites“. In addition, mobile energy generators are often used in parts of the world where fuel is scarce or of poor quality.

With its compact size of 220x100x50, the ENERGEEN fits into any mobile system.

Cement and brick industry

CO 2 -Emissions and Alternative Fuels

The German cement industry has invested more than half a billion euros in recent years to make the manufacturing process future-proof. The industry’s efforts are particularly focused on reducing carbon dioxide (CO₂) and nitrogen (NOₓ) emissions.

Nevertheless, the CO 2 Emissions from this branch of industry have not been reduced, despite the increasing use of substitute fuels.

ENERGEEN reduces CO by up to 40% and NOₓ by up to 14%.

In recent years, the savings in existing brick plants have been achieved by improving the control of the dryer and tunnel kiln, as well as by the automatic quality control in front of the burner. By modernizing the dryer control, the energy consumption could be reduced by 20%.

By using ionized oxygen in the burners, energy consumption can be reduced by a further 10%. The ENERGEEN can be easily retrofitted to save space. The ROI is approximately 2 years.
